Maybe the easiest arcade beat-em-up / hack & slash ever made? Here's your cheat sheet for clearing this game: focus on spelling the SA-MU-RA part of SA-MU-RA-I*, don't pick up the last I* powerup because it will reset all your current powerups. Master the art of turning around to enemies and then pressing the attack button for the opposite direction you're facing to do a much longer-ranged backslash (think of the back kick in Renegade or Double Dragon II). And... that's it, really! You too can cheese out a clear on this silly game that I hadn't bothered to record a clear of until now.
Do note that in older versions of MAME, the English version would usually hard crash when you reached a certain stage thanks to a protection check that wasn't fully understood in the emulation. It has been fixed as of MAME 0.261, so be sure to grab a new release if you want to experience the confusion of "Mr.X?". (although honestly, I can't tell if there's any gameplay differences between the Japanese and English versions, they felt the same to me)
