Not one of the more common shmup 1CC's out there, Dogyuun is a Toaplan shmup with a couple interesting concepts.I'm a big fan of the side pods that give you the ability to speed up by holding down button 2, giving you the ability to zip around the screen at crazy speeds. The game is pretty long at 10 stages, although the final stage is... pretty special.

This was played on the "European" system dipswitch, which is considerably easier than the Japanese version. Rank does not get as high in the English versions, making enemy bullet speeds a lot slower. Despite that, I still don't think this game is a "free" 1CC as there's a lot of stuff to learn.
