Fighters, Barbarians and Paladins must be familiar with the use of Arms and Armor and be ready to adapt their fighting methods; the paladin experienced with breaking and sundering weapons will do so more reliably than the fighter specialized in using a polearm in taking a leg out from under their opponents.
