Playthrough of Billy Kane in Yumeji's boss hack for Fatal Fury 1.

*Note*: It seems that no bosses can block when you play as them, making them very difficult unless you almost spam attacks.

Billy's usable Moves:
Staff throw: qcf + A
(alt) b, f + A.
Staff kick: (at medium distance) B


His palette is messed up for half of the game like the other four main bosses, unless you reach the second part. Likewise, this is the opposite for bosses you can select in the first part of the game.

Billy is a generally easy character to use. He has numerous invincibility frames, notably when using his infamous staff kick. His staff throw not only acts as a projectile, but also a counter against aerial attacks, and he has two very good aerial attacks of his own. He can't however block or duck, which led to that horrendous part attempting to defeat Tung Fu Rue. I found it incredibly fitting that Geese is so easy to defeat with Billy, his overpowered staff kick easily passing through his reppuken and taking him down. Hwa Jai was a little annoying, but the range Billy has with his staff made up for it. This was especially apparent again Raiden, as its much easier to keep your distance from him than with other characters, and that staff throw again works grab as an aerial counter. Fighting Billy himself wasn't too bad but it definitely was down to luck. That staff kick hits you in the air, meaning you can't use aerial attacks and in turn have to hope for the best with jabs and staff throws.
