Hey Everyone, Phil doing an Aussie Garage Interview in Kulin WA, this time with Aaron and Bill, so lets get into it.

So Aaron let check these two rides in your collection, let's start with the XG Ford Falcon Panel Van.
Its a 1994 XG Ford Falcon Panel Van with about 380,000 kms on the clock. It was original from Kalgoorlie WA prior to Aaron owning it and he brought the XG Panel Van in March 2020. The motor is the original 4.0lt Ford Engine with Hot Wire Mag Wheels, Twin System Exhaust, Power Steering and Air Conditioning. All the Creature Comforts in the vehicle. These 4.0lt engine absolute work well and are solid running. Aaron plans to get another XG Falcon Panel Van like this one and create a matching trailer to use for car shows throughout WA. He went to the Dongara Midwest Show n Shine a couple of years again and want to get back into the car scene. He also want to get the family involved and to start teaching them about cars as well.

The XG Ford Panel van will remain white in colour as that is what he prefers, however, is going to get a Mural painted on the Van, like he had on an old XC Falcon Van in the past. We dobbed Dan in, because he can Airbrush Panel Vans as well, a man of many talents.

He has lowered the back of the van as the previous owner had a high rake in the van and Aaron was not a fan, so he put it back to his specification. He is happy with the van and that fact it has all the creature comforts, but he will slowly do the van up to become show ready,

As for the next car in his collections, its a 1982 Ford LTD Limousine that he brough in September 2015. He refers to this as he's dinosaur. He brought the Limo from Melbourne were the previous owners was using this as toy on the weekend. He brought the Limo to have fun on the Charity Rally's for girls, drink, food and luxury whilst having fun on the charity rally's in Kulin area. He drink the Ford LTD Limo back from Melbourne and had to use cheap tools along the way to fix the old Limo. It give him a few issues coming back to Kulin with the 20" Rimmed wheel, which he swapped out about 1000 kms into the trip. This caused issues due to change in speed and fuel consumption. One the way home the car was so low that had to go over a railway line and the car was bottoming out, was he back the limo up 100m, pushed his foot the floor and did the old Dukes of Hazard across the tracks.

The Limo is running a 351 Cleveland Engine with a 4 Barrel carby, C4 gearbox, new tail shift and new diff and custom axles for the Ford LTD. He still has to do the transmission and over areas, but its a start.

Bill's 1960 Willys Jeep

Dan got to check out Bill's 1960 Willys Jeep and chat with Bill about his impulsive buy at the Auctions one day. The Jeep has been on a farm for 60 years now and the Jeep is 62 years old, so most of its life. When Bill brought the Willys Jeep it was held together with fencing wire and duct tape as most farm jeeps and Utes are after a while. The Jeep had a replacement Nissan Diesel engine into, but Bill wanted the genuine engine. Thankful the farmers had not throw this away, but in saying that farmers rarely throw things away. So bill refurnish the genuine engine and got it running and driving after having many issues with the bell housing and other parts. However, he got there in the long run. The Willys Jeep had a lot of rust in the panels and floors, which bill has repaired slowly all be himself. He is a Qualified Diesel Mechanic and work around cars all his life.

Bill will have this Fully Restored in about 6 to 8 months and we will be back to check this ride out and have a spin.

Special thanks to Bill and Aaron for allowing us to do a these Aussie Garage Interviews.
