The scale of this undertaking started to hit me now. This is a big place. It will turn out to be a bit of a barren place, too, if our current situation is any indicator. We have to locate new colonies, and fast, unless we want to fall behind.

In this episode, we get our first taste of starbases and combat, although not together. We meet some lovely pirate friends, get some more armed starships for free, and advance our technology and industry.

I'm going to be skipping bits of the early game, looks like, at least the parts where literally nothing is happening. I think we need to build more scout ships...
