Continuing on with any overly detailed tutorial of this game we cover a lot more mechanics this game thanks to Randy and my preferred style of play.
First up it's bedrolls and sleep mechanics followed a little later by the benefits of having bedrooms that are not awful. In this play though I am turning all the berries I harvest into Pemmican so we have food for the winter months, in theory. We also install a fueled stove and some lighting for it so our pawn can work at full efficiency. Randy then throws in a heat wave for us to enjoy which demonstrates the power of passive coolers. Also shows how all the animals evacuate the map when this happens. After a little manual hunting of some of the more dangerous critters on the map we pack up make a caravan and go trading to the two nearest settlements. It's a terrible trade session as we do not manage to obtain any good weapons or Armour. Oh well time to soldier on with what we did acquire.
