This is the 2003 THQ AMA Supercross Dave Coombs Sr. 125cc East/West Shootout from Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, NV.
Returning 125cc East and West contenders like Grant Langston, Michael Byrne, Mike Brown, Brock Sellards, 125cc East champ Branden Jesseman, Kelly Smith, Steve Boniface, KTM rookie Brett Metcalfe, Ivan Tedesco, and French import Matthieu Lalloz, 125cc West champ James Stewart, Jr., 125cc Sophomore Billy Laninovich, Chris Gosselaar, Andrew Short, Eric Sorby, Matt Walker, 125cc rookie Josh Hansen, Josh Woods, Sean Hamblin, Danny Smith, and 2002 125cc West champ Travis Preston battle it out for bragging rights and a new truck for the 2003 Dave Coombs Sr. 125cc East/West Shootout. 125cc East champ Branden Jesseman is forced to the sidelines with a thumb injury. This race is well known for James Stewart's horrific accident that knocks the West Supercross champ and defending Motocross champ out for up to 6 weeks with a concussion and broken collar bone. Motoworld Suzuki's Andrew Short takes advantage of James' misfortune and wins his first professional 125cc Supercross race. Fellow Colorado native Josh Hansen finishes a season-best 4th place.
Enjoy.
