Beautiful Design
As far as design goes, there really is no other way to put it than to say the IS 350 is absolutely beautiful -- from the cool front grille, LEDs and standard 17-inch wheels (although the F-Sport IS 350 we drove sported fancy 18-in wheels). The finish is nice and clean with sharp exhausts and taillights. Pulling up to the valet stand or taking co-workers out to lunch just got more exciting.
Great Value
Toyota and Lexus reliability is pretty remarkable. To get into the IS 350, you only need around $41,000. When considering German luxury brands and what they offer on their standard feature list, the IS 350 is a stand out. We are talking a ton of features, but kicking it off is adaptive cruise control, sunroof and some innovative safety. It really is one of the best ways to get into a luxury car.
Smooth Transmission
We have to say the IS 350 is sporty, but it is also super smooth, and that isn't easy to accomplish. Lexus gave the RWD an 8-speed automatic transmission. Both the RWD and the AWD take on bumpy pavement surprisingly well. You pair that with a 306-horsepower 3.5 liter V6 and you are certainly ready to hit the road.
Gorgeous Interior
We were so fortunate to have the F-Sport interior in our test car, which is certainly more race and performance inspired. But even without this package, this interior is top-notch. If you can, opt for the Luxury package which heats and ventilates the already very comfortable front seats.
Performance and Precision
We do recommend opting for the available all-wheel drive, especially if you consistently face weather elements. You will find other brands that are faster, however, the IS 350 more than holds its own as far as delivering power. As far as handling goes, the F-Sport option really enhances your overall driving experience.
