Going into the drive train some more, this car’s
4wd transfers power with electronically controlled transfer case and automatic LSD. You control it from this nob and it changes on the fly.
In terms of suspension, this car comes standard with the TRD-tuned off-road suspension with 2.5-in. FOX® Internal Bypass coil-overs and rear remote reservoir shocks.
In laymans terms these shocks have a really good balance between smooth drivabilty and significant dampening force at max compression since these dampeners are position sensitive.

Looking around back this car is equipped with the cat back TRD exhaust.
Now this is all great but what about towing.
With a gross vehicle weight of 4445 lbs, it can tow 6400 lbs
The last off roading specific feature of this car is the ability to get the snorkel. Now it is formally called the desert air intake because its actually used to take in clean air when driving in sandy conditions as opposed to going deep inside water.
Going on to the looks, there are lots of badging so you never forget which Tacoma you bought. Outside of the badges you do have some unique aesthetic features like the
blacked out grill with the gunmetal gray Toyota badging

the trd front skid plate, LED DRLs.
And the 16 in TRD pro black rims with some fat good year rubber.
From a functional standpoint you do have your 120v 400w ac power outlet in the bed which is great for many situations.
Going on to the inside, I want to point out the FINALLY the driver seat is 10 way electronically controlled. The bummer is that its just the driver seat. Toyota, please just add it to the passenger side. The leather used on the seats, steering wheel, and shift nob feel amazing and the fit and finish inside is really impressive.
New for 2020 is the standard push button start, and the 8 inch infortainment system which has apple carplay and android auto. THIS is the biggest reason to get this over the prior years since it is a key factor in what will make this car future proof.
This display also provides you with rear view and 360 degree view cameras and multi terrain response telemetry display.
