2021 All-New Toyota Fortuner Features and Spec Explained
5You guys remember the Toyota Fortuner 2021 facelift was launched in India just last month? Yeah, so the automaker just shared it has racked up more than 5,000 orders for the new Fortuner and Legender SUVs in India. 2021 Toyota Fortuner is a midlife refresh for the model, which now gets plenty of new features as well as design upgrades. Of course, the range now also includes the top-spec Legender variant. But more about the performance in the market -- Toyota noted Fortuner continues to lead the segment, commanding more than a 53 per cent segment share. In fact, the company expects the SUV's segment share to record further growth, thanks to the arrival of the Toyota Legender, which is said to have garnered quite a bit of interest from customers.

While the new Toyota SUV did get design and feature-related changes, it does not feature any changes under the hood. It comes powered by a 2.7-litre petrol engine that belts out a maximum power output of 164 bhp along with a peak torque of 245 Nm. This engine is available with a choice between a five-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed automatic. The SUV other engine option is a 2.8-litre diesel engine that generates 201 bhp and 500 Nm with six-speed automatic transmission and 201 bhp and 420 Nm with a six-speed manual gearbox.
