Over the last few days, the team of McLaren Customer Racing was at Monza Circuit to develop the successor of the McLaren 570S GT4, which has been around for 6 years now. The candidate appears to be the new McLaren Artura. The street car uses an all-new 3.0-litre, 120 degrees, twin-turbocharged V6 engine paired with an electric motor to produce a combined output of 670 hp (with the combustion engine producing on its own 577 hp).
Quite for sure the GT4 Artura will be deprived of the electrical part, as hybrid systems aren't allowed in the class so far, but the V6 engine is definitely kept with the addition of restrictors to balance the performance of the car within the GT4 class. For this last reason I don't know if the two Arturas in the video can be considered as actual GT4 cars since during the test they might have been without the FIA restrictions. If so they were testing with the 'Sprint' version of the car, as happened with the 570S.
