Ferrari and McLaren-Mercedes look good after Friday practice in Melbourne, with Charles Leclerc heading the soft-tyre runs and Oscar Piastri shining on heavy fuel. Championship leader, Max Verstappen, lost time after damaging the underside of his Red Bull RB20; Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton struggled again with edgy oversteer - and Alex Albon badly damaged his Williams-Mercedes in FP1. With no spare chassis in the garage, Albon will race the car of Logan Sargeant, who, frustratingly, will now be confined to the pit wall for the weekend. In this video, Peter Windsor talks through the key elements of the day and offers some further analysis of the brake problem Charles Leclerc experienced in Bahrain.
