1,300The non-stop action continued in Shanghai with qualifying for Sunday's Chinese GP. Fresh from his victory in the sprint race, Max Verstappen seized the pole for Red Bull, ahead of team-mate, Sergio Pérez, and Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso. McLaren and Ferrari are in the mix but it was a dismal session for Sir Lewis Hamilton, who failed to make it out of Q1 in his Mercedes.
