Max first, Charles second, Sergio third: although the results of the Miami sprint race had a familiar ring to them, the track action spoke otherwise. The first corner battle between Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc was a masterclass in brilliant braking and mid-corner improvisation; and, a few laps later, Sergio Perez came from a long way back in the DRS tow to pass Daniel Ricciardo with great precision deep into a tight left-hander. Daniel nonetheless raced to an excellent P4, ahead of Carlos Sainz, Oscar Piastri and Nico Hulkenberg. It was, though, a bad race for Aston Martin and Mercedes - and Lando Norris was eliminated at the first corner. In this video Peter Windsor looks back at the major themes of the Miami sprint race - and, as a bonus, details an illustrated style comparison between Max and Sergio.
