At the heart of the Valhalla lies a powerful plug-in hybrid powertrain generating an impressive total output of 1,064 horsepower. Most of this power—817 horsepower—comes from a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine positioned right behind the driver. Unlike the engine found in the DBX707, this version has been extensively re-engineered. It features a flat-plane crankshaft, custom pistons, and a dry-sump lubrication system, all designed to enhance performance. Aston Martin also installed upgraded turbochargers, bespoke camshafts, and a new ignition system to ensure peak power delivery.
