Thank you, Rush fans, for your support. I made this video for my own viewing originally. It took around 15 hours to put together. I wanted to make this video, because every time I listened to the song, I thought of the events taking place, and I wanted to put it into pictures to help me visualize it.
After showing it to a couple of my friends (who were 2112 fans) they said it was really good and helped them put a picture to the words spoken without having to go look up lyrics or ruin the songs looking up it's definition. So I decided to cut it in half into two parts,convert it, and upload it to YouTube.
I apologize for the low video quality (non-HD). Especially for the last bit (Part 7) because I really didn't know what kind of pictures to use. I wasn't sure how I felt about the ending. All I could think of was celebration. The unofficial text I used near the end was me trying to piece together the man's death with the "We have assumed control" bit, even though Rush's original intentions may have been totally different.
Lastly, the lyrics used were meant to be faded, as I wanted them to blend with the pictures instead of turning this into a karaoke video (definitely one of my more questionable artistic decisions). I apologize for some of the story-based text moving too quickly, but the text had a VERY specific order that it needed to be shown, so sometimes it only got 2 seconds of screen time. Be sure to pause the video to read it.
