After getting the software to read the compass heading angle successfully in Part 1, we were left with the task of making the software cause OBS to scene switch.

Scene switching can be done using OBS Websockets interface, or, if you're more primitive like myself, you just hack your way in to simulating keystrokes instead. For this system we used the XTest library, specifically the XTestFakeKeyEvent() call. Ideally I'll be able to make it work with the XSendEvent() function instead but that'll be something for the coming days.
