I've been using the Vici VC8145 now for a few weeks and overall quite happy with it for the task it's being employed for but there's a behaviour quirk that has been annoying me every day that I use it. So while I cannot modify the internal firmware, I figured out a way to mitigate it using the meter software that I wrote.
