2^7 Subscriber Special! A Medley of Commodore 128 Games
10In which I play a bunch of Commodore 128 games that I chose based on 2 criteria: I liked the look of them, and I was able to get the darn things to run. There were several that I would have like to play that I could not make work for love or money!

I'm underwhelmed with the C128. I was talking with my friend John about it, before I recorded this, and I think his experience was probably quite common. He had moved on from the C64 to the Amiga, and wasn't about to go back to an 8-bit machine. It seems to have been aimed mainly at business users, with its extra processor and 80-column mode. As far as I can tell it didn't succeed on any front.
I'll have to come up with something new for an hypothetical 2^8 subscriber special...unless there is a Commodore 256 that I'm not aware of.
