Dark Souls II is the second game in the Dark Souls franchise developed by FromSoftware. It is an Action RPG whereby you will be using the Bearer of the Curse in defeating the four great souls in the land of Drangleic and with it, into linking the fire as well as uncovering the darkest secrets the old kingdom hides. Standing between you are the many challenges and enemies you be will be encountering until the end.

A game which is one of the best games of 2014 which received critical acclaim at release garnering a critic score of 91 in metacritic and receiving around more or less 15 GOTY awards. Praise was given to its good gameplay, many bosses, much friendlier difficulty and great environment. However, despite claiming a good game score, it was heavily criticized by its hardcore fans for changing many things from what its previous titles have especially the toning down of its staple difficulty and it’s infamous downgrade as compared to its demo and trailers. Although the game for me was very good, I also am one of those gamers who felt that this is not the dark souls sequel we’ve wanted. I don’t know why but it does not give that memorable factor compared to the other titles in the franchise. Regardless, it is still one of the best games to play in the year 2014. Enjoy!
