Naturally I've made quite a few simplifications, I think the video might be a bit too heavy on the information as is. There will also be many other good ways to go about picking colours, such as looking at other peoples work, I just wanted to cover one way (the one I often use) to avoid making 'mistakes', limiting your palette and avoiding high saturation can make your art quite neat looking, quite easily. It might not be the best, but it's also not the worst :)
