The gameplay is from the European PC version of the kart racing game also known as Smurf Racer. The game was developed by Artificial Mind & Movement and published by Infogrames Europe SA in 2000 or 2001 for PlayStation and Microsoft Windows. This

*My CD box is actually the german version, but it has also 4 additional langages. So that's why you see the game in English (UK).

This game was quite hard to record, since it is constantly switching between 640 x 480 pixel resolution (some part of the menus/UI and all the videos) and the 1024 x 768 gameplay resolution (or at least, where 3D elements are shown, like the Smurf/car selection screen). Also, the game is not a DirectX 3D game, but it uses a graphic engine, that works in OpenGL only. So sadly I cannot upscale the graphics with dgVoodoo.

I tried to record with Open Broadcasting Software (OBS).
