So, I was genuinely baking cookies before playing/streaming this game..
Peanut Butter Cookies, to be precise...
If y'all want the recipe, here it is:
🥜Preheat oven to: 175~180C
🥜In a medium sized bowl, whisk together 2.5 cups of plain flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt. Then set aside.
🥜In a large bowl, using a hand mixer, beat together 1 cup butter, 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup white sugar until fluffy.
🥜Beat in 2 large eggs one at a time.
🥜Add 1.5 cup of PEANUT BUTTER, and mix well.
🥜Add the flour to this mixture in small batches, this is to ensure you get no lumpy flour in the mixture.
🥜Make sure the mixture is well mixed and fully combined.
🥜Now, refrigerate the batter for at least an hour (I had mine in the fridge overnight).
🥜Once batter is chilled, roll into little balls and place on baking tray and press down with a small fork to make criss-cross pattern.
[A note to add: Dip the fork in cold water after creating a pattern on each cookie. This prevents the fork from sticking to the uncooked cookie]
🥜Make sure the uncooked cookies aren't too close together, because trust me they do slightly spread out in the oven whilst baking.
🥜Finally, bake in the oven for at least 14~16 minutes, or until golden brown.
🥜Take out of the oven and cool on the baking tray for at least 10 minutes (or more) and then carefully remove them and transfer to a cooling rack.
🍫For that extra yumminess, dip half the cookie in melted plain chocolate and you got yourself a yummy snack.
