Players or the Game Master get sick, the Dungeon Master is horrible to game with or circumstances in a gamers life is going to make them unpleasant to be around. These could all be reasons to set aside game night and take breath. Perhaps a new gaming group is in order or just a short rest to recharge some of your abilities. In more severe cases you made to actually take a long rest to fully recharge your RPG needs.
