Well, Godzilla first of all isn’t a pack animal and doesn’t live in a herd, he is actually a solo alpha predator and we don’t really know how he would interact with another member of his own species, if they ever met. Titanus Gojira and Doug seem to be very different and so the Lizard isn’t a Godzilla junior or a minilla. Although it is still better looking than Minilla, that ugly monstrosity. Lastly, Godzilla seems to feed off entirely of radiation and we have never seen him in the movies, comics and the novelization that says he has a carnivorous diet, but the jury is still out on that.
So, Godzilla and Doug, not at all related. Point number one: Godzilla is bipedal but the lizard is quadrupedal and they both have different body shapes as well. Secondly, The lizards as pack predators and live in small herds while the habit of Godzilla is that of a solo apex predator. Lastly, the food source of Doug are the rock critters while Godzilla has a love for deep fried radiation and maybe some sea food along the way.
