A "One and Done" Balloon Flight I Took at Dawn in Albuquerque New Mexico Down the Rio Grande and Up a Few 1000 Feet....Fun, But I Was a JET Pilot and a Helicopter Pilot and Notice That Balloon "Pilots" Have Limited Control Concerning Where These Crafts "Touch Down" and On Our "Flight" It Just Happened to be This Golf Course and Kind Of a "Crash Landing" Of Sorts! Still, I'm Glad I Did It....Our Balloon Pilot (Mike) Has Over 30 Years Experience and Told Us He'd Never Had a Serious Mishap or Injury...One of the Reasons I Chose Him and His Company For My Flight Experience....Out of the 8-10 Balloon Operators There His Seemed To Be the Best! Do it If Ya Get the Chance....You Won't Forget It...Especially the Landing!
