300 Minutes of /vr/ is a community speedmap compilation by /vr/, the retro vidya board on 4chan, and the always-active Doom threads. Sometimes we play Doom, sometimes we mod Doom, and sometimes we fight about whether you should pet the Cacodemon.
After 200 Minutes of /vr/, we'd been sputtering for a while about a sequel, but then one intrepid leader decided to just fucking do it and started up with a similar ruleset.
300 minutes, or five hours. Make a vanilla-compatible map. Test in Chocolate Doom. Fucking do it.
Corralling the ADD-ridden cats of 4chan is no small feat, but 300manager did so with gusto. And almost a month later, we'd compiled 33 different maps from a lot of different people in the community. Some amateur, some quite experienced. A handful of My_house.wad, a handful of genuine attempts, and a handful of gimmick ideas. Described by the audience as "aggressively mediocre" and "it sure is a wad, I guess", we now present to you 300 Minutes of /vr/.
