My first sub-hour RTA live on stream!

In late October 2023, I managed to beat the F-Zero GX story mode in less than 2 hours off stream. The next time I seriously picked up the game in March 2024, I was able to beat it in 57 minutes, my first time completing it in less than an hour RTA. After that achievement, I was filled with a sense of great satisfaction, as I'd unexpectedly reached my original, pipe dream goal of beating the game in less than an hour. With that, I considered myself capable enough to be called an F-Zero GX speedrunner, and I felt compelled to stream my further attempts in front of more than just my cats.

This stream was the first time I'd played the game on stream after that decision, and I consider it the start of my F-Zero speedrunning arc :)
