[3.17] Rog Crafting Guide - Maximize Expedition Currency
16Many people believe that Rog currency is worthless compared to the other expedition currencies. I don't believe this is the case. I believe he is equal to the others and in this video I show some examples of crafting quivers and shields. I chose shields and quivers because people are already crafting many helms, gloves, boots, and chests from the new 3.17 currencies and there is a smaller supply of shields and quivers. Also, they buffed many mods on shields and quivers this patch. In this video, I craft 7 items in 11 minutes, which all should sell for around 20c to 80c with Woe Charm being the best item.
Additionally, while I did not hit an "insane" item in these 11 minutes, I would say I average a 1-3 exalt item every 1 hour of crafting and a 4+ exalt item every 4 hours with the expensive items being Triple T1 Prefixes or Suffixes with high Life and good filler mods.
This strategy can be used for other item types, but I highly suggest not attempting to craft weapon using this strategy as it is nearly impossible.
Rules for Crafting:
1. Most of the items you will make will fail. That is fine. If an item doesn't have 3 good prefixes or 3 good suffixes after 5 roll options, just move on to next item.
2. You typically will want to fill up your item with either 3 suffixes or 3 prefixes as fast as possible so that you can use the "Reroll 3-10 Times, keeping the best outcome". This is the best way to luck your way into a Triple T1 or T2 suffix/prefix item, then use other rolls to finish off the remaining mods.
3. If you have a set of 3 good suffixes or prefixes, you do not want to skip the next craft option because if you skip into a deal that forces you to reroll your good mobs, the item is dead.
4. Use your "Exceptional Order Artifact" currency sparingly. If the item isn't already in a good spot, don't use this expensive currency.
5. You don't have to get 6 good mods on an item. If you get 5 good mods, don't attempt to make the item perfect. Just bench craft the last mod.
6. Buy some annulment orbs for a chance to get rid of a 6th mod that is bricking the item. Example: If an armour shield has all good rolls, but no life on it, you need to annul one of the prefixes and craft on life.
7. "Fill All Empty Modifier Slots", "Remove all Prefix Modifiers", and "Remove all Suffix Modifiers" are all very bad options to craft and you should almost never use.
