Following the aftermath of the fabled "16 Bit Wars", we had a period of new conflict between Sega and Sony. They were battling for dominance in the 32 Bit arena, each bringing a very capable console with excellent libraries of games. The Sega Saturn was from an experience company with a history of making great games, while the Sony Playstation was a newcomer to the video game market.
