The troubles for Halo Infinite roll on, as 343 Industries have announced they will no longer be adding local split screen co-op to the game's campaign. The news was shared as part of a 30-minute update video discussing Halo Infinite's roadmap.

Local co-op was cancelled "in order to improve and accelerate ongoing live service development, and to better address player feedback and quality of life updates." A traditional feature for Halo, previously the only game in the series to not have split screen co-op was Halo 5: Guardians.

Was part of a wider "bad news" update that also revealed that online campaign co-op, Forge and Season 3 had all been delayed.

▸ Forge Mode (open beta) will also arrive in Nov (pushed back from Sep).
▸ Season 3 has been delayed to Mar 2023.
