Commands used:
Give player the tag:
tag @p add ParticleTarget
Remove the players tag:
tag @p remove ParticleTarget
Play the particle effect:
execute at @a[tag=ParticleTarget] run particle minecraft:block sand ~ ~ ~ 0.1 0.1 0.1 1 10 normal
execute at @a[tag=ParticleTarget] run particle minecraft:campfire_cosy_smoke ~ ~0.5 ~ 0.1 0.1 0.1 0 10 normal
execute at @a[tag=ParticleTarget] run particle dust 1 1 1 1 ~ ~ ~ 0.2 0.2 0.2 0 5 normal
