This video series has been a long time coming. I am finally using the powers of 3D printing on my Robo3D, Ultimaker v1 and Ultimaker v2 to fabricate and print brackets to seamlessly bolt the Buttkicker LFE audio transducers to the Obutto R3volution gaming cockpit. I started planning this project about 5 months ago and acquired the Emotiva UPA-500 amp along with 5 of the SimVibe modified Buttkicker LFE's but I needed a way to connect them to the cockpit without physically modifying it. I didn't have the skills to design the brackets myself so I enlisted the support from my awesome subscribers John Alves & Daniel Pindea to design the brackets from a set of measurements and pictures and they did an amazing job! Without support from people like them this project would still be in the 'planning' phase.
3 brackets were designed in total and 2 of the brackets will be printed twice. Once all of the brackets are placed I will do some light testing with the LFE's to make sure the vibration is where I want it then I am going to send the designs away to be milled or cast from aluminum so I can get the maximum amount of vibration to the cockpit.
