Well just playing more VS CPU mode in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike on Dreamcast, with weird colors and settings ; ):

I played this *immediately* after playing some KOF 2000 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCa6agk1J6s ) and that may have been a mistake ; ) ; I've been playing KOFs much longer than 3rd Strike, and while I'm not particularly good at them and don't have like all the moves memorized, not to mention combos, I can at least kind of feel my way around with the buttons--so I was still in that mode when I came here to 3rd Strike, and BOY does that not work in this game that I'm less familiar with, and which I think--as with all the SF games vs KOF in general--has a more deliberate style of play; the Alex vs Gouki match is an example of how things go south real bad when I try it in 3rd Strike (and Chun-Li vs Sean before it--man, talk about getting overconfident with a character I still don't have much of a handle on at all : P).

So yeah don't try to 3rd Strike like King of Fighters. : o
