Stuff I've found since I recorded this already outdated, ridiculously ignorant rambling commentary last night, spawned by the release of a trailer video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChN6AjsLORY ) for Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, revealed to be coming to PS4 worldwide in one week:

- The VF5US web site https://virtuafighter5us.sega.com/lang/en.html confirms there is an "Arcade" mode (no other single-player modes mentioned so that's probably all we get single-player-wise). No character customization mentioned.

- The PlayStation.Blog https://blog.playstation.com/2021/05/26/playstation-plus-games-for-june-operation-tango-virtua-fighter-5-ultimate-showdown-star-wars-squadrons/ says "Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown | PS4" will be "available on PlayStation Plus for about two months – June and July" and "releasing on PlayStation Now in June! PlayStation Plus members can enter Virtua Fighter 5’s arenas starting Tuesday, June 1. Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown will be available to PlayStation Plus members until Monday, August 2."

(I think the colon in the last instance of the VF5US name there was superfluous. The official site doesn't use the colon, and the blog didn't elsewhere.)

Also I was actually sort of trying to play this cool game you may have heard of, Tekken 4 on PS2! Doing a very distracted job of 8-on-8 Team Battle, with randomly generated teams (bears, Combot, Heihachi not included), on Medium difficulty:

24'20 - Lei takes out a fight club spectator! They get back up after a second or two but man I didn't realize that could happen : ooo
