2Redout 2 is a racing videogame developed by 34BigThings, published by Sabre Interactive. It is the sequel to Redout.
Redout 2 takes place in the 26th century, where players pilot high-speed anti-gravity ships on magnetic racetracks to compete in a popular interstellar sport known as the Solar Redout Racing League (SRRL). The game is inspired by other science fiction racing games such as F-Zero, WipeOut, Rollcage, POD and Star Wars Episode I: Racer.
Redout 2 released on 16 June 2022 for PC (Steam, Epic), Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5.
The Nintendo Switch release is planned for July 2022.
Gameplay and content

Each track can optionally be played in reverse, increasing the variety
In addition there is boss tracks. In boss mode, 3 tracks are combined into one mega-track for one epic race, further increasing variety
There is also 9 tutorial tracks in a 10th location - accessible in career mode only.
12 different racing teams, each with a unique ship chassis
Each ship chassis can be heavily customised with different cosmetic parts (jet engines, spoilers, etc.) as well as functional upgrades which affect handling, acceleration and so on.
Each ship chassis can also be heavily customised with many different patterns (liveries) and paints.
A Career mode with over 200 events
Arcade where players start with all ships, tracks, modes and upgrades unlocked to race against the AI or do time trials
Multiplayer with up to 12 players on most platforms.
Players can play arcade mode or career while waiting for multiplayer matches
An optional rewind feature which allows players to rewind time (for example, to avoid blowing up or coming off the track) in race modes
Extensive accessibility controls in the options, to help newer players, or disabled players, by having the game's AI assist their steering, strafing etc.
Several difficulty modes which affect the challenge posed by AI racers, and also affect how many times rewind can be used

Redout is a science fiction racing video game developed and published by Italian studio 34BigThings, and co-published by Nicalis and 505 Games. It is inspired by racing games such as F-Zero, Wipeout, Rollcage, and POD as stated on the game page on Steam.
The game was released for Microsoft Windows in September 2016, while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One released in August 2017. The Windows version is playable in virtual reality. The Nintendo Switch port was originally slated for a Q2 2017 release, but got delayed and was released in May 2019. The game was released for Amazon Luna on October 20, 2020.
Gameplay
Redout is an anti-gravity racing game set in 2560. Players compete by piloting one of a selection of crafts on several different tracks.There are seven racing teams and every team has four ships. Each ship has its distinct characteristics of acceleration, top speed, grip, structural integrity, energy pool and energy recharge speed. The players can customize their ship's characteristics installing upgrades and choosing a passive and active powerup of the six of each available. There are five racing complexes (and an additional seven have been added via DLC) each one consisting of five tracks.
