[4K] Shadow of Mordor - PS4 Pro Equivalent Graphics Settings on PC - GTX 970
Shadow of Mordor targets native 2160p (4K) on PS4 Pro, and uses dynamic resolution scaler, which means when the GPU render times slip over budget, instead of dropping frames, resolution is seamlessly adjusted to 90-80 per cent of native full 2160p on-the-fly. PC version obviously doesn't have this feature, so instead it gets frame-rate drops below 30fps in busy areas while keeping full 2160p at all times. Frame-rate is generally north of 30fps for the most part, this means a 30fps cap will ensure consistent presentation just like on Pro.
(Settings shown here are equivalent to "Favor Resolution" mode - one of the two modes found in the Pro version of this game. The other one being "Favor Quality" mode which just bumps up the "Mesh Quality" from Medium to High, while downgrading the resolution from dynamic 4K to 1080p and 30fps. It will be locked 60fps using "Favor Quality" equivalent settings on this PC.)
I've downclocked the GTX 970 to 1261MHz from 1488 MHz, which gives it a 4.2 TF of computational power, closely matching PS4 Pro GPU's 4.2 TF.
Note: There's slight boost in frame-rate when not recording.
