4k winter walk video, around Porirua City (P Town), located in Wellington Region, New Zealand. Starting off at Wellington Railway Station with the 12:44 pm Saturday 16 July 2022 Metlink service train departure (brief train recording), we head to and arrive at Porirua Station. From there its a walk through North City Shopping Centre, then a brief sitdown to eat and ice cream from North City. Then a walk along the Porirua Stream and Porirua Harbour waterfront pedestrian walkway around Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf, then back to North City, then finishing back at Porirua Station. The 2:39 pm train back to Wellington (2 carriages) was busy due to the rugby event so caught the 3:09 pm service which has 6 carriages and could get a seat on. TIP... I've inserted video clips which provide a good glimpse of what's in this whole video... especially for viewers who can't watch the whole video...

Its been years since I last had a good walk and visit to Porirua. Nicknamed 'P Town'. Captured using my DJI Pocket 2. Metlink fares for trains and buses are half price. We've been enjoying these discounted fares for a couple of months now, and the New Zealand Government is set to keep the discounted fares until at least Spring. The New Zealand Government has introduced this scheme in wake of the extremely high cost of living, and due to COVID. My return trip (Wellington-Porirua, and Porirua-Wellington) was only NZ$7 total.

I enjoyed my Saturday visit to Porirua (P Town). Its been over 6 years since I had a good visit to Porirua City. I'll aim to come back a few more times this year, especially to try their minigolf, which I've never tried the Porirua minigolf one. North City is better than Queensgate Lower Hutt in my opinion. This walk is from Saturday 16 July, 2022, beautiful weather and day for it, particularly since its winter.
