When God created summer, he thought about the Sun, about flowers, and about happiness. When he created winter, he thought of purity and a new life. When he created spring, he thought of love and rebirth. When he created autumn...it seems he wasn’t thinking at all, damnit! He evidently fell asleep somewhere at the end of August, and the Devil took over from him until December! How else can we explain all those awful surprises that are hidden in the leaves, that miserable rain-soaked mood, and my wife’s thick woollen layer?!
But not everything’s so bad. Autumn also has it’s wonderful side...it’s just I haven’t found it yet. Maybe you could go away for a while?
