A short tutorial about Launch Options to speed up loading times, alt-tabbing, removing opening intro and improving FPS.

Close CS:GO and open up your Stream library. Right-click on CSGO and select "Properties".
From here on the "General" tab select "Set launch options".

In this dialog box enter:

novid to disable the opening intro for CS:GO
high so that the game is launched in high priority, utilizing more resources to the game.
threads and then the number of threads your CPU has. If you have a dual core CPU then I dont recomment to use this launch option.
nojoy - This will remove the joystick support which you dont need if you're not using a joystick, which you shouldn't
and Finally nod3d9ex - This will disable the external rendering of direct X.
