A short tutorial on how to prevent Fortnite from Crashing on statup / launch. Also this will prevent a series of black screen bugs.

Open up your file explorer and open up the drive on which Fortnite is saved on, navigate to: "Epic Games" ; "DirectXRedist" and here double-click the DXSETUP file and proceed with the installation.

Next, go to your program files and here search for "Epic Games" ; "Fortnite" ; "FortniteGame" ; "Binaries" ; "Win64" and finally "BattlEye".
In this folder you want to run the "Uninstall_BattlEye" batchfile.

Now that this is done, open up your Epic Games Launcher and click on this gear icon to verify the game files.
This will make sure that all of your game files are complete and up to date. After a few minutes it should be done.

If your game still crashes, then you will have to make sure that your OS and drivers are up to date.
If you have limited space on your hard-drive then uninstall the game and reinstall it on another drive with enough space.
