For almost all of this episode, we continue to kick back with *Mute and read a variety of log entries and letters that, while not necessarily tied directly to the colony ship's eventual fate, still tell the narratives of many lives aboard. This is the sort of content we'll be committing to history when we download all the logs after this whole thing is over.

Not to mention, of course, that we get a broader insight into *Mute herself, and some of her character, motivations, and beliefs. Some of it is heavily influenced by the retrograde 'society' aboard the ship in its last years, but we're all products of our environment in some way.

I probably love the character interaction with the AIs more than the historical stuff, although I have to say, both of those aspects of this game are beautifully written, with great skill. I'm definitely going to have to check out Christine Love's other works.
