Well, we're back to it in earnest now, looking through old log files in search of reasons for everything that we already know happened. Well, and a few newer mysteries, including the true nature of our AI companions. Even so,it shakes out the same; extract documents, read documents, recoil in disgust often enough, and gather feedback from *Hyun-ae and *Mute.

In fact, I have to say, I love the improvements to the game design made here; while Hate Plus retains this wonderful fusion of gameplay and story mechanics in a way most games never even bother to attempt, it includes one of the most important parts, at least in my opinion; more of the AIs, offering real-time feedback and reactions with changes in expressions and whatnot. They play off of each others' dialogue and it really feels like they're basically reading things with you, and like the great AI companions of gaming before them, with you every step of the way on your journey.

We've started to unravel information related to the ship just before the years were reset to 0, and definitely enough to paint a better picture of the times, and discover what the 'old *Mute' was like. Our *Mute certainly has a lot to say on that score. Revolution and social change was brewing aboard the ship after hundreds of years, but what sort of change would these impulses take?

We already know the end result, unfortunately enough, but yet we press on, and read, and read, and read, and read. Not a lot else to do now that our ability to talk to the AIs is broken, again, and we're still days off from Earth space.

After we arrive, though, we're getting *Mute and *Hyun-ae robot bodies and all going to the beach or something because seriously, holy crap. Or maybe we'll go to Paris or something, I dunno. Anything but breathing in the dust and burnt ashes of the KSS Not Okay.
