5 Minute Review - Anki Overdrive (The Gaming Ground)
10Yes, it´s finally time for us (TGG) to do a video review of the world's most intelligent battle racing system Anki Overdrive (the game app can be downloaded for iOS or Android). So I hope that you will find our review to be helpful and entertaining =)
Anki Overdrve pros:
+ Anki Overdrive is a very uniqe racing game, with no doubt
+ It´s Co-OP and multiplayer friendly
+ The game is fun as hell to play on your own or with friends
+ There is a lot of different cars and upgrades to play around with
+ You got plenty of gameplay modes and a single player campaign to enjoy
Anki Overdrve cons:
- The starter kit is rather expensive, as it´s priced at 149,99 USD + the shipment cost
- The racing track needs quite a lot of free space
- You also need to buy quite a lot of extra gear to enjoy the full gameplay experience
- And some people might find the Anki Overdrive cars to be rather expensive, since each car costs about 49,99 USD each
Gameplay: 4/5
You will have tons of fun no matter if you play against the A.i or real people.
Graphics: 4/5
The in-game graphics for Anki Overdrive is really well made, and so are the animations.
Sound and music: 3/5
The sound effects are rather good, but the music is rather "meh".
Controls : 5/5
The controls are very easy to learn and use.
Replay value: 4/5
Thanks to all the cars, game mods, weapons and the customizable racing tracks. You will be stuck with Anki Overdrive for a long time.
Verdict: 4/5
Despite the cons which I have listed for Anki Overdrive, I would still recommend this racing game. Since Anki Overdrive combines mobile Gaming with real racing and takes the whole old-school track racing experience to the next level.
Simply put, you´re going to have a real blast with this game if you enjoy racing games. And that´s also why I´m giving Anki Overdrive a 4/5 grade. So tons of props to the Anki Over drive team for creating this awesome racing game!
