5 Of 7 Copyright Claim Disputes Accepted! HERE IS HOW I DID IT!
181Recently, 5 of my 7 copyright claim disputes were accepted. Considering how everyone else was saying their disputes were getting denied, I was pleasantly surpised with this news, even though I believe all disputes should have been accepted. I consider this my first win against AMC involving corruption with claims and it shows why you should never back down. I did find it interesting however that some of the disputes were denied, but the claims were then removed after the denial. That does not make much sense to me and it seems pretty shady. In addition, I try to show you all what I wrote in my dispute to get it accepted. Use this quote in your dispute: "Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 106 and 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright." After that, then explain how your video contributes to that definition by mentioning some of the characteristics of fair use in the claimed video such as comment, criticism, and more, that were used in your piece. This shows that you know fair use and copyright law. Once that knowledge is established, they might back down and accept the dispute. I will link to the page on copyright law as well. I wanted to raise awareness of this so that you all may successsfully solve your disputes as well. Raising awareness is one of the most important parts, which is why I ask you to share this video and support it, in addition to the other videos from Ronny and Megan.
