SPILL IT SWEET 16 CYPHER SESSIONZ
🚒01. Class is in Session
🔥02. Better than the Boyz
🌊03. New Skool
🔥04. Feels like the 90s
This was like a visual ep broken down into 4 cyphers. The first track Class is in Session being the best and setting the tone for sure. You had Nik Moody, Debanaire and Kony Brooks cooking up some haymakers and unique flows all contrasting with different tones and cadences really trying to melt your face. Better than the Boyz follows with Majorwayy, Durgaveli & Fancy Laflare tapping into the golden era lady flows from Foxy to Kim even hints of the Mothers Lyte and such, with there own seasonings. Major was going crazy big lines and presence, Durga had a more meticulous slower flow and solid pocket but held onto the last flow and tone a bit too long. Fancy was sliding while punching up a storm. It ended with a bit of an old school type hook which I didn't love but wasn't mad at. New Skool was solid, Mani B, Chris Welchs and Chytown did they thing but I felt like the closing verse was a bit short, she was also performing way harder than the delivery and the opening verse her tone just didn't pop with the beat as much as it could have, she could have mixed it up more. Chris did his thing super dope unorthodox flow. Feels like the 90's closed it out solid, with a more smooth almost R&B trap type feel. X-Yle was spitting game but with haymakers, B.Hanka channeled her inner Mary or even Faith and delivered smoothness flows and all while singing her ass off, then Johnnie Floss closed it out smooth but lightly, nothing crazy just riding the beat keeping it safe. Overall each track came together nicely and the visual worked too, shows the love and effort. Check this one out for sure.
