5 Reasons Why You Should Give Roller Champions A Chance
I've spent a few hours this week checking out Roller Champions, a brand new multiplayer sports game from Ubisoft that launches on the 25th May. You might recognise Roller Champions from its initial reveal 3 years ago during E3 2019, but just in case it’s managed to pass you by, Roller Champions is a blend of roller derby and basketball that challenges two teams of 3 to throw a cool ball through a big hoop.
It’s a simple premise with a surprising amount of depth, and I was taken by just how much I enjoyed it. It all feels very trim and deliberate, a rare multiplayer game that confidently delivers its vision straight from the get-go. I’ll admit, I’ve gone from not thinking about Roller Champions at all to thinking about it constantly, desperate to partake in some high intensity rollerblading whenever I have a spare moment.
Long story short, I’m a bit smitten with Roller Champions. Seeing as the game’s launch is imminent, I wanted to give you five reasons why I think it’s worth giving this cool little game a go.
