INFORMATION ABOUT THE RUN:
The run took close to a year to complete, running from January to September 2020. The first 100 days or so occurred off-stream. I started streaming in April, and from June onwards the remainder of the run was streamed entirely live, approximately Day 120-500.
In order to make the run more enjoyable, I set numerous goals for myself to complete. These included things such as mapping the whole world, reaching level 5 gunsmithing, killing 500 predators, killing all three special wolves, creating trails, and many more.
On Day 499 I returned to the point where I spawned and planted a cairn with basic supplies for the next survivor. I waited by a campfire until I reached day 500.
DISCLAIMER/DETAILS ABOUT CERTAIN CLIPS:
The video shows various highlights from the whole 500 Day journey, in (mostly) chronological order. However, very observant viewers will notice a couple of minor discrepancies in the clips (e.g. why am I killing a Moose on Day 32 in Timberwolf Mountain, but climbing the summit on Day 76?). This is a result of me not streaming the first 100 days. During those days, I recorded footage but regrettably only saved highlights. This meant that some footage was lost, and this was replaced by alternative footage (from the same run), showing the same event.
Therefore, the following clips do not show the actual event that occurred that specific day, but a similar event from a different day (from the same run):
Day 1 - I do not think my original spawn location exists anymore, and I could not even get a spawn there on new runs after 20 attempts, so this footage is staged.
Day 6 - I made arrowheads that day in the Spencer homestead, but the footage is from creating a second batch of arrows at the same location around Day 400.
Day 32 - My first Moose kill was in Milton basin on Day 32, but the footage was lost. The moose kill shown was around Day 80 (my second moose kill).
Day 76 - I climbed the summit on Day 76, but footage was lost. The footage shows me re-climbing the summit around Day 297. I climbed the summit three times during the 500 Days.
All other clips show are accurate and show the events as they happened, on that day.
If you are wondering why it skips from Day 127 to 238: During those 100 days, very little happened. I spent most of it in Hushed River Valley and Desolation Point. Outside of the battle vs. Sketchy and killing the bear with flare gun, little of note happened during this time.
If you are wondering what happened with the immune timberwolves: According to Hinterland (who reviewed the clip), the wolves bugged. They charged and got afraid at the same time, causing them to not react to the flare.
