512: Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown PS4 \\ Brad Customize & Very Hard Arcade cheese dunking!
I continue my Customize (make a costume) and then let's cheese the "Very Hard" Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown (man I wish they'd gone with the original, shorter Japanese name, Virtua Fighter eSports; yeah it kind of sounds grossly commercial but it's so much easier to say/type : P; maybe I should start a one man campaign to go with VFeS in the west : PPP; "VF5US" also misses the whole point of the thing, which is to make a game as a service) AI by overwhelming its flawed, weak defense with attack spam series by trying it with Italian Muay Thai kick-boxer Brad Burns! It was...interesting : ooo
Oh yeah also I set it to VF1 music:
0:00 - start
1:23 - Customize
19:36 - set to VF1 music
20:12 - VF1 costumes
22:31 - Brad
24:01 - Wolf
25:21 - Shun
26:41 - Lei-Fei
44:01 - Lau
1:00:32 - Aoi
1:05:32 - Akira
1:12:58 - Dural
1:15:07 - credits
1:20:48 - Goh dfPP Arcade test
1:34:00 - wrap-up & what's next!
Oh Brad's awkward pants. Some of them definitely had that weird long straight waistline going on in Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, of which VF5US is mostly a remake (only 10% of the original customization items having yet been re-created in the game's new Yakuza series engine, though!), but I don't remember there also being this "just lost 30 pounds" overly wide waistline. : P Hair and loafers (keep 'em dry) are looking good, though!
I kind of have fun with Brad but I'm still not sure how much I actually get him.
The play-through was tough, it was kind of interesting though how each character from 4-7 took a different spam type: Lei-Fei was fP, Lau was dfK, Aoi was uh a mix and offensive pressure, Akira was dGK.
Thanks to @マハフネ ("Mahafune") for the 3PP (dfPP) suggestion for Goh, it does seem pretty effective, even against that darn stage 4 Jacky.

Thanks to an audio "ducking" mention by Tim Rogers in either this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xds35Dy51oM&list=PLZO3OPzPjIzP9ZurGyp9PLJXGGoLTuD_S&index=151 or the next one for finally spurring me to try out a ducking aka "sidechain compression" filter for recording video; it means that when the mic is receiving sound, the game audio is slightly surpressed, so that the mic doesn't have to fight the game for audio supremacy; long battling had got me to the point where the two were pretty close to balanced, so I only had to implement the most minimal ducking possible with OBS's settings, dropping the game audio ~3-4 dB while talking is happening; hopefully it's light enough not to be noticeable, except that my voice and associated gross mouth sounds are now magically more audible than before!
